Dear Brothers, Sisters, and Guests - The Epsilon Chapter is pleased and honored to serve as host for the 163rd gathering of the Grand Chapter. We are looking forward to a memorable weekend celebrating St. Anthony Hall. As you will see in the schedule of events, we will have a busy schedule taking place at various locations on the Trinity College campus and at our historic chapter hall, as well as in downtown Hartford. For those of you unfamiliar with Hartford, you are visiting the ancient capital of the State and former Colony of Connecticut, founded in 1635 by Rev. Thomas Hooker, author of the Fundamental Orders of Connecticut, one of the world's first written constitutions. |

Hartford is proud to claim for her own, Mark Twain, the Dean of American letters, and J.P. Morgan, the founder of the modern American financial system.
Trinity College, which is situated in Hartford's South End, was established in 1823 by leaders of the Episcopal Church. It is the second oldest college in Connecticut, dedicated to the liberal arts, and a proud member of the New England Small College Athletic Conference. The Epsilon Chapter has been in continuous existence since its founding in 1850 by Charles Frederick Hoffman. It was chartered by an act of the Connecticut General Assembly in 1873. Coeducational since 1985, Epsilon is home to a vibrant community of young men and women committed to perpetuating the legacy of Uncle Tony. Our chapter hall was built in 1878, and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1985.
We would like to extend a particular welcome to our honored guests, the spouses and significant others of our members. We have included a listing of several interesting cultural, shopping, and other activities available here in the Hartford area. We have also arranged two special events just for you. On Friday, there will be Docent-led tours of Hartford's cultural treasure, the Wadsworth Atheneum, which is America's oldest public art museum and which includes a prized collection of Hudson River school paintings. On Saturday, there will be a private tour of the Hill-Stead Museum in nearby picturesque Farmington Village. Bus transportation will depart from the Marriott Hotel, at times to be announced. Refreshments will be included with both tours.
For Brothers and Sisters, our main meetings will take place in the Terrace Room in the Mather Campus Center on the Trinity campus beginning at 1:00 pm on Friday and 1:00 pm on Saturday. Finally, our weekend will conclude with the traditional black tie gala at the historic Bond Ballroom on Saturday night beginning at 8:00 pm.
Once again, a warm welcome to Hartford, and we look forward to celebrating the bonds of this great fellowship with you all.
